Paul Raftery

I'm a mechanical engineer specialising in HVAC engineering and whole building energy simulation. I currently work as a postdoctoral researcher in IRUSE on the I2E2 Appropriate Working Environments project at the National University of Ireland, Galway. This project aims to develop an automated fault detection and diagnosis tool for large HVAC systems. I also offer consultancy services in: 
  • Energy and thermal modelling of buildings (EnergyPlus, Modelica);
  • Energy auditing of large commercial and industrial buildings;
  • Fault detection and diagnosis in HVAC systems. 
  • HVAC design and analysis for new build and retrofit cases.
